Over the course of three days in June, the New York Tobacconist Association’s Ron Melendi (general manager of Manhattan’s De La Concha Tobacconist) toured the State of New York visiting tobacconists to hear firsthand how tobacco taxes have affected their business. After more than 1,500 miles on tobacco road, here is their story.
